Dobry Den! As seems to be the norm, it’s been another hot and dry week here at Pekarek’s Produce. The work day starts in the 6 o’clock hour these days in hopes of being done in the field by noon. Some days this works – and some days it doesn’t. So what gets done afterContinue reading “Week 7 of Pekarek’s Produce CSA”

Potatoes are nutritious!
I don’t think anyone has to ask what to do with potatoes. Bake, boil, mash or fry, a potato can be delicious – even if you spell it with the extra “e.” Potatoes are the highest consumed vegetable in the U.S., only behind corn. You know, it seems potatoes got a bad rap from fadContinue reading “Potatoes are nutritious!”
