2019 FALL CSA

What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a relationship between you and your farmer. When you purchase a “farm share” you’ll receive delicious fresh, local vegetables every week.

2019 Fall CSA Membership Details

Pekarek’s Produce invites you to join us for our 2019 Fall CSA!

This year we will be offering a Fall CSA during the months of November and December.  The CSA will include four delivery dates which we tried to schedule to go along with the holidays: November 6th & 20th, and December 4th & 18th.  The cost for the fall CSA will be $125.  As usual, the produce you receive in the box will be somewhat dependent on successful cropping and weather, just as it is in the current CSA and will primarily include vegetables that will store well.

So often, people think the produce stops sometime in September, but our goal is to have produce through the end of the year into January of the following year.  So let’s look at what was in last year’s CSA:

  • Pie Pumpkin
  • Broccoli
  • Romanesco
  • Sweet Potatoes
  • Acorn Squash
  • Cucumbers
  • Yukon Gold Potatoes
  • Radishes
  • Cauliflower
  • Lettuce
  • Spinach
  • Potatoes
  • Kohlrabi
  • Butternut Squash
  • Turnips
  • Beets
  • Peppers
  • Sunshine Squash
  • Cabbage

CSA Share Size: There is only one share size for the Fall CSA… I think we should call it the wonderful size!
